Texas PTA member discount information has been collected and posted in the member-only section of the Texas PTA website.  You'll need the username and password from the back of your PTA Membership Card or Texas PTA Member Benefits Card to access it.  Both the 2006-2007 username and password and the 2007-2008 username and password will work (until the 2006-2007 password is inactivated October 15th).

Each participating company has slightly different ways of accessing the PTA member benefits, but none of them work by showing your card.

The discounts are as follows:

La Quinta "state-rate"-$85 or less in Texas, complimentary upgrades to king beds and multiple occupancy rooms, and a minimum 15% off outside Texas. 

Nationwide Insurance-Member-only rates on auto insurance.

Office Depot-Special offers periodically available direct to you via coupons from your PTA President.

BarnesandNoble.com-5% off at BarnesandNoble.com when using the PTA portal.  Note: this discount is exclusive to BarnesandNoble.com and does not work at any store.
