"This will be my 5th year as a Frostwood mom, which is crazy because it feels like yesterday I was on campus for the first time taking a tour - led by Missy Purgason and Mrs. Perkins!"

Favorite Frostwood event or tradition:

"Such a hard question! I really love 3rd grade wax museum. It’s so fun to see the students’ personalities and interests show through in their selections, and they show so much maturity in putting together and giving their presentations. Close second, I really love how our teachers call the students to announce that they’re going to be their teacher for the year. It starts the year off with such a fun personal touch."

Why Hope decided to serve on PTA:

"Frostwood is a really special place. Our faculty and teachers are the best of the best and set the tone for Frostwood being "The Greatest School On Earth". In addition, a huge factor in what makes Frostwood so special is the PTA community. We are comprised of more than 175 volunteers, who each serve the school in a unique way to give our kids the very best possible experience - from putting on events like Carnival and IFest to serving at salad bar, in the garden, funding and chaperoning field trips and so much more. I want my kids to see the benefit of having a caring and supportive community, and think parents serving alongside each other under the umbrella of PTA is a great way to set that example while enriching their educational experience."

"When I reflected on why I felt called to serve on the PTA this year, it truly came down to a deep sense of gratitude and stewardship. I believe it is a profound privilege to honor and maintain the incredible Frostwood legacy built before us—one that has been shaped by wonderful families, an amazing community, and exceptional school programs. I am so looking forward to walking alongside this community to serve our incredible educators and staff, who selflessly pour their hearts and minds into our  kids, and to cheer on ALL of our Frostwood Tigers!"

"I still feel like I have so many left to experience but for right now I will say that my favorite is Kindergarten 100 Day Parade. Not only is it fun to see the different personalities of all the kids based on their 100 day shirt but I love how the whole school gathers together in the hallways to cheer the kindergartners on; making them feel special and supported!"

Why Meredith decided to serve on PTA:

"As someone who reaped the benefits of a public school education right here in Spring Branch ISD, I feel called to ensure that not only my children but all students have the opportunity to learn in a supportive and positive environment. Frostwood's community is truly a special place-- I love that I'm able to help new families get plugged in through my role in PTA!"
