International Festival Overview
What is International Festival?
International Festival, or IFest, is Frostwood's celebration of the many different cultures that make up our FWE community and world. Typically held in April. Keep reading to find out more about both the Parade and Festival that make up IFest.
The Parade
Held on Friday morning during school, students are able to choose a country to represent and walk with in the parade. Parents and the community are invited to come spectate on the playground and field as our students walk together with their chosen country. At the end, everyone will gather on the field to listen to a short choir performance of traditional IFest songs. Students can opt to wear clothing to represent their country and wave flags.
The Festival
Held on the Saturday afternoon after the parade, volunteers from the community set-up booths on FWE's field to represent different countries. Most booths have food and an activity to learn about their country. Different performances occur throughout the festival like dragon dancers, bagpipes, mariachi bands, and more!

IFest depends on volunteers from our community! If you are a community member who would like to be involved in our 2027 International Festival, please reach out to us via email: ptapresidentfwe@gmail.com
Parents can also volunteer to be the IFest parent coordinator for their child's class when Room Parent Volunteering opens at the beginning of the school year.
How Do I Attend?
Parade- Since the Parade is during school hours, all attendees must register with the front office to attend. Premade paper badges will be printed and available to pick up before entering. If you are not preregistered you will be required to check in with an office representative and provide your ID to have a paper badge made.
Festival- Tickets to IFest will be sold in the weeks leading up to the event right here on our website. Tickets provide you entrance to the Frostwood property and all activities that are part of the festival. We would love all community members and perspective kindergarten families to come out and see what makes Frostwood such a unique experience.
